Wedding photo journalism is the buzz word in the wedding photography industry and, nowadays, most wedding photographers in Bali and around the world claim to shoot in this style. Therefore, I am always on the lookout for the defining moments, the heartfelt emotions and the sensations as well as the funny moments that encompass a wedding in Bali.

While my approach and style during the preparations, the ceremony and during the reception dinner is strictly journalistic, I give clients more than that. 99% of my clients also ask for group and family photographs as well as for a photo session on the beach and in and around the wedding venue. A purely journalistic approach would not allow for such photographs because a journalist is not supposed to influence the event he/she is covering. However group and family photography, as well as a photo session with the couple, requires direction and plenty of communication and interaction with the photographer.”
